July Favourites.

Hi! I can't believe there's only a couple of days until August, only one more month and then i'll be moving into my uni house, exciting times! I thought I'd do a post on my favourite finds of July as there have been some particular favourites this month.

Coral Pink bag - I picked this up (brand new) from a charity shop for £5.00. It had never been used and was in perfect condition, I've been using this quite a lot, especially with this nice weather we've been having in England, the colour is perfect for summer.

Garnier BB Cream (Miracle Skin Perfector) - I have been absolutely LOVING this! I got the light shade and I just find it's so perfect to wear in this hot weather. The main thing that drew me to buying this BB Cream in particular was its "Combination to oily skin" promise, meaning it helps fight the oily skin look, and it really does. This is my go to product when its too hot to wear a normal foundation.

Soap & Glory SUPERCAT (Carbon Black) eyeliner pen - I have been looking to try a new eyeliner pen for a while now and I saw this post [x] which urged me into buying the Soap & Glory pen. I am so pleased I did, unlike pervious liquid eyeliners I have used that have a poor brush that runs out VERY fast, the Soap & Glory pen has a felt tip pen which makes everything easier. It's quick and easy to apply and drys super fast.

LUSH Cosmetic Warrior Fresh Face Mask - At first I was going to buy a face mask from The Body Shop but at £12.00 I wanted to save my money so I took a trip into Lush and got talking to a lovely girl that worked in there who suggested I try the Cosmetic Warrior face mask. I have relatively clear skin (because I drink FAR too much water) but I get so many blackheads on my nose, the girl at Lush showed me this product which "combats spots and soothes troubled skins" She told me she uses it herself and would definitely recommend it, so I got it. It is amazing, not only does it leave my skin SUPER soft, the blackheads on my nose have drastically reduced. I use it once every other day in my routine before I go to bed. It cost me £6.00 and you keep it in the fridge, it lasts 3-4 weeks. Admittedly, it does have a funny smell but it is so worth it (and half the price of the face mask from The Body Shop)!

I hope you enjoyed reading this!

Favourite lip products

Hi! I thought I'd make a post on my favourite lip products. I adore lipsticks/gloss but find it so hard to find the perfect ones, here are a few of my favourites.

1. Nivea hydro care [x]  I'll start off with lip care. This is a long lasting lip moisturiser which works wonders! I always have it on me, it keeps me from having dry lips, it's super quick and smooth to apply and it even protects your lips from sun burn.

2. Limited Collection GLOSS (Antique Rose) [x] This too is a product that never leaves my bag. It can come on a little bit thick at times but this lipgloss is long lasting and perfect for a minimal make up look (which I always tend to go for during the summer time) It also comes in a cute shade of pink too.

3. AVON colour trend lipstick [x] This was given to me by a friend a while back and it's perfect for a night out. It's long lasting (even after a few drinks) and it doesn't tend to smudge. The only down side to this product is that it takes a while to apply it properly.

4. Rimmel London Kate Lasting Finish (Kate Moss collection) [x] This lipstick is AMAZING it literally lasts all day without having to reapply it. It's perfect for everyday wear. I got number 22 which is Rouge and it even smells slightly of cherries! This is my favourite lipstick I have ever purchased and I would definitely recommend adding something from the Kate Moss lipstick collection to your makeup bag!

I hope you enjoyed reading! What are your favourite lip products?

Bye for now! :)

My favourite books.

Hi! So I recently went on a book shopping spree, which urged me to want to go back and have a look through my favourite books, I thought I would share and recommend them on here too!

1) The book of Lost Things - John Connolly

This book took a while for me to get into but when I did, I was hooked! Its an amazing tale about a boy that finds a secret world at the bottom of his garden during WW1 times and gets stuck there. In the real world he used to be able to connect with books and even hear them talking. The story follows him trying to get back to his father, step-mum and baby half-sister. The tale is gripping and I enjoyed it very much.

2) Death Note - Tsugumi Ohba

I love manga and anime so I couldn't have this post without at least one manga book, Death Note. There are a series of these books, which are in Japanese comic form. The story follows Light Yagami, who picks up a note book (Death Note) which has instructions on how to use. The books have characters that make you laugh and stories that are VERY clever (There's kind of a Japanese Sherlock in the book too, yay!) If you were looking to start reading manga I would definitely recommend Death Note as a starting point.

3) The Perks of Being A Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky
THIS BOOK!!! I love it SO MUCH! The story (for me) is so relatable and I absolutely love how the book is just a series of letters to a mysterious person, of whom we never learn anything about. I think this book has at least one character someone could relate to which is why I think this is a perfect book for any teenager to read.

4) The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time - Mark Haddon
I read this book a few years ago but the story stuck with me. This book deals with many different themes and relationships and has a unique style to it which I just adore. The story is very beautiful and I believe this has been turned into a production at the theatre (which I would LOVE to see).

5) Billy and Me - Giovanna Fletcher

This book has wonderful characters, a very lovely setting and a beautiful story. I adored this book from start to finished and I literally could not put it down! There are many twists and turns which keep you engaged and the main character, Sophie, is just someone that you want as a friend! A very lovely tale.

I have a few more favourite books but I shall keep them for another post! I hope you enjoyed reading this.

What are your favourite books? Let me know!

Bye for now. :)
