Been away a while.

Hi!

As you've probably noticed I've been away from blogging for quite a while. I had to take a break as I just had a huge amount of university work, filming, editing, pitching, building sets, travelling! Also, at the weekends i've been busy at work, I decided to take a break until I was able to get my work into flow and work out how to balance university work, a job, a social life and my blog! I've finally made a plan therefore... i'm back!

Where have I been?

Follow me on Instagram ! I post pretty much everyday of what I'm up to / where I am. Take a look at my Twitter too.

In November I had the opportunity to go to Amsterdam for the IDFA (International Documentary Film festival Amsterdam) the documentaries I watched were incredible and Amsterdam itself was a beautiful place.

Just a few snippets from Amsterdam! Let me know if you'd like a full post on the trip!

So that's it really, sorry for being away for so long but now I shall be back to blogging every week (hopefully more than once a week)

Bye for now!

Most Marvelous Purchases.

Baby Pink balloon top £8.00, Shot glasses £4.00, Star Trek coasters £6.50, Multicolour genuine leather bag £20.00, Floral picture frame £5.00
Hi! Recently I went into A Most Marvellous Place to Shop [x] and had a tiny bit of a spree, as I only visit when i'm home from university I didn't really hold back on my spending.

Baby pink balloon top - This top is perfect for spring/summer and the balloon pattern is just so adorable!

Shot glasses - I picked up these because they're different to most shot glasses you see and what kind of student would I be without them?!

Star Trek Coasters - I couldn't leave these behind. I had to add these to my collection of 'geeky' things.

Multicolour genuine leather bag - I've seen these bags so many times before in Most Marvelous and this time I decided to go ahead and buy one, I love the different colours and there's three compartments inside, so handy.

Floral picture frame - This cute picture frame is gold with blue gem stones on the flowers. I thought it was too pretty to leave behind and also, I'm looking for small pieces to put in my house i'm moving into with my university friends in September so this is a perfect addition.

Thanks for reading!

What have your most recent purchases been?

Bye for now. :)

These wedges are VERY high but they are gorgeous! Perfect for a meal out or for a summer party.

And of course some basic Primark sandals are a must! Comfy, cheap and easy to style... What more could you ask for?!

Mini Shopping Haul

Hi! Recently I went to Birmingham and had a browse around the sales and i've also popped into a few charity shops around town so I thought I would share some of my recent purchases!

Socks - £6.00 Topshop, Shoes - £14.00 Primark

I picked up these adorable bunny socks in Topshop, the back of the socks have little bobbles for the tails and I just can't get over how cute they are. These are also perfect for the festival season as they can be worn with a pair of wellies.

Backpack - £15.00 Topshop

This backpack was reduced from £35.00 so i'm pretty pleased with this buy! it's a perfect backpack for any day out, its very lightweight and has lots of pockets to keep bits and bobs in!

Crop top - £9.00 Urban Outfitters.

This cute heart top I found in Urban Outfitters for £10.00 in the sale then I got an extra pound off with my NUS card (Yay student life)! This top is so cute and summery and can be styled so easily I also think with the right bottoms it could be worn on a night out.

Spider - Man crop top -£5.00 Primark

If you know me then you'll know why my face is pure happiness! I LOVE Marvel and all things superhero so finding this top just made my day. Again a top that is easy to style and perfect for summer.

Onto my charity shop finds now! This lovely dress is from the British Heart Foundation charity shop. I picked it up for just £3.00! A lovely bright spring/summer piece.

I've been looking for a leather backpack for some time now and I picked this up for just £4.00 from a local charity shop. Its made up of three different colours and the straps can zip up and be turned into a shoulder bag, so essentially I got two bags in one (yay)!

I got a few other bits and pieces but i'll save them for another blog post! I hope you enjoyed reading this and I would love to hear feedback!

Bye for now. :)

The first one...

Hi! I've finally plucked up the courage to start a blog and I'm really rather proud of myself. So hello! I'm Becky, i'm from the UK and i'm 19. I'm currently studying film production at university and I thought I would start a blog to show what i'm making and also to share my favourite things.

My first year at university finished about a month ago now so it's officially summer (yay!) and I've already been doing lots of shopping (not so yay for my bank account) Here are a few things I've purchased:

Holographic block sandals - Primark £14.00

I found these beautiful holographic sandals in Primark! I fell in love with them and just HAD to buy them!

Dress - H&M £18.00 Kimono -New Look £22.99 Socks - New Look £2.00 Shoes - New Look £24.99
This picture was taken by my boyfriend at London Zoo earlier this week, I'm wearing my kimono that I found recently in New Look, it's a very long, peach, floral kimono and I think its really pretty and very summery, perfect for the weather the UK has been having at the moment!

I'm not going to bombard this first post with fashion because I don't just want this to be a fashion blog so here's just a little something else I've been loving this past month:

MarioKart 8 for the Wii U

MarioKart 8. It's just AMAZING! I love how you can race maps from the GameCube era and of course, the Luigi death stare is the most incredible thing to happen, ever (Here's the link if you don't know what I'm on about [x])

Thank you so much for reading, I'm hoping to be updating weekly so be sure to keep checking!

See you soon. :)
